Fair price for GPU, good deal

I needed a new NVIDIA GPU for a project and Supermicro had a decent price during their seasonal server sale. I compared it to a few other places, and even without a coupon code, the direct markdown was good enough. The checkout process was easy, and I felt I got good value for my money. First time buying here, and it was a solid experience overall for a budget-conscious shopper like me.

Consistent quality, reliable parts

I've ordered from Supermicro several times before, mostly components like DDR5 Memory and SSDs. This time I got a Solid State Drive. As usual, the part was exactly as described and worked perfectly right out of the box. Their stuff is always reliable. Shipping speed was typical, took about a week, which is what I've come to expect. No surprises, which is a good thing when you're building systems.

Got my CPU fast enough

Just grabbed an Intel Xeon Processor from their site. It shipped out pretty quick, took 4 days to reach me in Arizona. Everything was packed well, no dents or anything. Slapped it into my system, and it fired right up. Easy peasy, no drama. Happy with the purchase, got what I needed without any fuss.

Decent server chassis, slow shipping

I ordered a Rackmount Server Chassis. The build quality is solid, felt sturdy enough for my needs. Packaging was good, no damage. However, shipping took longer than estimated, about 8 days to reach California. Customer service was polite when I called about the delay, but couldn't speed it up. Prices are competitive for what you get, but don't expect fast delivery.

Ordering a Server Barebone, decent experience

I placed an order for a Server Barebone. The website was easy to navigate, and finding the right model was straightforward. I appreciated the detailed specifications listed for each product. The order confirmation came promptly, and I received tracking information a couple of days later. It arrived in about 6 days, well-packaged in a sturdy box, with all components intact. Installation went smoothly, and it powered on without issues. I did have a question about compatible power supplies, and their technical support responded within 24 hours with helpful information. Overall, a solid purchasing experience for a complex piece of hardware. The quality seems good, and everything functioned as expected.

Hey, thinking about grabbing a SuperServer from their site. Anyone know how long shipping usually takes to like, California? Need it kinda quick.

Mine took about a week to get to LA last month. They use standard carriers mostly.

Yeah, I'd say plan for 5-7 business days if it's in stock. They're not Amazon Prime fast, but usually reliable. You can track it once it ships though.

Are their 'open box deals' any good? Seen some decent prices on motherboards there but always wary of used stuff.

I got a PSU from the open box section a while back, no issues. Seemed brand new honestly.

They usually clarify if it's refurbished or just an open box return. My experience has been positive, usually just the box is dinged. Warranty still applies afaik.
